Phi Sigma Sigma's mission is to inspire the personal development of each sister and to perpetuate the advancement of womanhood.
Phi Sigma Sigma was founded at Hunter College in November of 1913 by ten courageous women. It was the first collegiate nonsectarian sorority welcoming women of all faiths and backgrounds. We love our Founders' original idea of inclusivity and we honor them by celebrating our diversity and welcoming women from all walks of life. Phi Sigma Sigma has 115 active chapters internationally and 60,000 initiated members.
The Epsilon Chi chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma was founded at IU Southeast in 1990. We take pride in supporting our international and local philanthropies year-round. We "aim high" in all that we do--some of our sisters are members of Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society, Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. You can always find a friendly face from our chapter on campus, because we always love wearing our letters!
