Every woman who registers for recruitment will be assigned to a recruitment counselor known as a Gamma Chi.  These women serve as counselors before and during the events of recruitment.  They will help you understand the specifics of the process and act as mentors while you make important decisions.  Panhellenic trains this group of women for the purpose of providing a more enjoyable and less stressful atmosphere during recruitment.

These women are sorority members who are temporarily disaffiliated from their sorority for this purpose.  By not representing a sorority, they will be able to give you unbiased and honest support.  Disaffiliation enables Gamma Chis to answer and guide you without bias or preference to a particular chapter.
